Bred by F. L. Skinner, Dropmore, Manitoba, about 1935. One of the earliest to bloom, before S. vulgaris types, and one of the most floriferous and fragrant. This well shaped plant does not become leggy. Single pale lavender blossom. Extremely hardy.
