While it tolerates wet, poorly drained soils, it does well in upland soils, and is resistant to bronze birch borer. Clumps have three or more stems. Voted 2002 Urban Tree of the Year by the Society of Municipal Arborists.  Available in size #5, #10 and #20 containers.  Our stock is constantly changing so please call for current availability.
